Michael O. Faborode, is Professor of Agricultural Engineering and Vice Chancellor at Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. He is a Registered Professional Engineer and the President of the West African Society for Agricultural Engineering (WASAE). He previously served as Vice President of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN). He received his BSc and MSc degrees at the University of Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile- Ife and his PhD at the University of Newcastle. His research interests are in biomaterial properties and bioprocess engineering, agricultural technology policy, and gender, technology and development.
