After 30 years in mining, the last 12 of which have been as CEO of the global gold miner AngloGoldAshanti, I now teach at the Business School of the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, and am non-Executive Chairman ofthe South Africa's State owned national electricity utility ESKOM.
