Biographical Sketch: Muhammad danlami NASIRU

Born on 25th April, 1959 at Farinruwa Village, Shanono Local Govt Area, Kano State. Attended the Local Education Authority Primary School there from 1966-1973; Govt Sec. Sch. Dawakin Tofa, Kano from 1973 -1978 where I obtained WASC (Division 3); School of Preliminary Studies, Kano from 1978-1980 for my A'Levels in Hausa, Islamic Studies and Literature in English; Bayero University, Kano fom 1980 - 1983 for a B.A.(ED)Degree grqduating with Upper Second Class (Hons). I served the one-year mandatory National Service in Kwara State from 1983-1984. I took up my first appointment with School of Preliminary Studies, Kano as Lecturer III in Oct. 1984, from where, after a change, I rose to the rank of Acting Registrar in 1999. I transfered my service to Bayero University, Kano in Sept 1999 as Principal Assistant Registrar. I am currently a Deputy Registrar and Establishment Secretary of the University, I am directly invovoled in the recruitement, development and discipline of staff in the University.
