Lorna Holtman is currently Deputy Dean of Science for Teaching and Learning as well as Postgraduate Enrolment and Throughput Director at the University of the Western Cape South Africa. Dr. Holtman (PhD, Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge, LA, USA) is the South African National Committee chairperson (2007-2009) of the International Union of Biological Sciences (IUBS) and is the newly elected Vice-President of Commission for Biology Education.
